EC Fund Update - Indie Game Publishing - Extra Credits
Today, indie game publishers are thriving, but it's still no easy feat to start your own game company, and publishers have to face their own set of risks that a typical development studio doesn't encounter. (---More below)
After this episode aired, we picked a developer after reaching out to our community about it; our supporters liked the idea so we went ahead. We kept Indie Fund supporters updated through emails while the game was in development, but ultimately the game fell through. That happens sometimes. We're not offering the fund anymore and have no plans to try it again.
