Stacey is a mess; she refuses to stay home and heads out into the square. Dermot, Lister, Ian and Mo all want her attention but she has only one focus – to find Max. Her behaviour becomes more erratic and her responses more extreme. She loses the stall.
She is rude to Bradley and steals his keys. She barges into Tanya’s and argues with her about Max. Stacey pretends she and Max are still an item and shows Tanya the keys. She insists it wasn’t just a cheap fling. They had planned a future together and he had got her a flat. Tanya throws her out.
Stacey lets herself into Max’s and heads to his bedroom. Max and Tanya row and Max insists what Stacey said isn’t true. Stacey was a mistake and he is serious about a future with Tanya. He doesn’t deny that there was a flat. Tanya storms out.
Max is furious to find Stacey in bed and tells her to get out. She is ruining his chances with Tanya. Stacey just wants some fun but Max tells her she is a state, she used to be sweet but her behaviour now is not normal. Stacey insists that she is still the same but Max tells her to leave him alone.
Charlie is furious about the unpaid bill. He and Jean are appalled when they find Stacey’s shopping and unpaid bills. Stacey starts to throw stuff out of the window and Charlie says that is it, she has to leave.
Jean recognises Stacey’s behaviour and knows that she is bi-polar. It is hereditary and can be set off by something bad happening. As Stacey’s behaviour starts to deteriorate she pleads with her to get help but Stacey is in denial. There is nothing wrong with her – she is normal.
