This is my first Youtube video, but I've had an obsession with multi-level-marketing companies for a while and their business methods and recruitment practices. I've been wondering why MLM's have not been regulated more harshly which is why I began researching the history of mlm's, eventually coming across a company I was already somewhat familiar with- Amway. Amway and the Devos family have strategically involved themselves in politics and have quite a hold on the American government, which seems to be a reason why MLMs continue to thrive with very little regulation.
