Most people agree that Stranger Things on Netflix is a well-crafted show. But, other than the obvious influences from classic 70s and 80s horror & sci-fi, why do we enjoy it so much? Erik is back after breaking down all the nostalgic references in our other video to explain how the storytelling, character development, and aesthetic choices like the title sequence, music, set design, and lighting all work together perfectly. He also points out how the Stranger Things team drew upon the work of industry artists like Dan Perri (Star Wars) and Guillermo del Toro (Hellboy, Pacific Rim, Pan's Labyrinth).
And now that Netflix has released a teaser for the episodes of Stranger Things Season 2, Erik analyzes that as well, making predictions for what might happen to Will, Eleven, and the others when the show returns in 2017.
