Nicole is stunned when she runs into Xander at the hospital. She demands to know why he isn't in jail. A protective Daniel rushes in and attacks him. Anne calls in security to intervene, and Xander plays up his innocent act. He claims Nicole and Eric must've been confused about who tried to kill them. Anne tries to get Xander to press charges against Daniel, to no avail. Later, Daniel and Nicole meet with Aiden who has spoken with the police and gives them an update on the situation. Daniel then takes a shaken Nicole home, where she has a flash to almost making love to Eric. Daniel wonders what's wrong, and Nicole is tempted to tell all.
Eric is livid when Serena tells him Xander has been set free. Eric argues Xander would be in jail if Serena had just come clean regarding the diamond smuggling. Serena relays what Xander said - she has no proof. Eric storms off to meet with Xander. Eric rips into him but Xander coolly maintains his innocence. Eric then goes to Serena, asking her to prove she is willing to do anything to help.
Roman gives Marlena the upsetting news about Xander. Later, she runs into Hope, who decides to speak to Victor to see if he knows anything that can help put his nephew away.
Earlier, Rafe interrupts Hope and Aiden's argument about Clyde. Hope confides in Rafe, who realizes Victor may have previously put a hit out on Clyde - and that's why Clyde had Sonny stabbed. Rafe then puts a stop to their conversation, reminding Hope it's best for everyone if they stop digging. Later, Rafe stops Clyde from running into Hope, not wanting to give Weston any reason to be suspicious.
Paige makes plans with a man online, then goes to the lake, where she sees JJ speaking with Kyle. (Kyle unsuccessfully tries again to recruit JJ as a dealer, which is observed by the unknown man.) She decides to stir things up by flirting with Kyle. JJ sees and is completely jealous. When a guy bumps into him, JJ is quick to start a fight. Bev realizes why and takes of

Du côté de chez ABC, la majorité de leur séries ont été renouvelées, parmi lesquelles A Million Little Things, Big Sky, black-ish (pour une dernière saison), Grey’s Anatomy, Home Economics, Station 19, The Conners, The Goldbergs, The Good Doctor ou encore The Rookie. CBS a aussi renouvelé ses nouvelles séries B Positive et United States of Al ainsi que SEAL Team, qui passe elle sur Paramount+ pour sa 5e saison. Du côté de la FOX, les séries 9-1-1 et son spin-off 9-1-1: Lone Star ainsi que Call Me Kat et The Resident seront de retour à la saison prochaine. Enfin, NBC a renouvelé Days of our Lives, Kenan, Law & Order: Organized Crime, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon et Young Rock.
Du côté des plateformes, Amazon Prime Video a renouvelé sa nouvelle série animée Invincible pour 2 saisons de plus et Netflix a annoncé le renouvellement de Firefly Lane pour une 2e saison. Parmi les autres renouvellements annoncés durant le mois de mai, on peut également noter le retour d'Hippocrate pour une 3e saison sur Canal+, le sauvetage de Sanditon pour 2 saisons supplémentaires ou encore le renouvellement de Stargirl et de Kung Fu.
