Indie Game First Look: The Land of Eyas | Defying Gravity
Indie Game First Look: The Land of Eyas: We check out The Land of Eyas, a simple platformer where the main mechanic plays with gravity and momentum. It was developed by Happy Square Productions and released on Steam in July 2016.
Despite its simplicity, the core mechanic is pretty fun to mess around with, and it is satisfying when you do finally gain some degree of mastery over it.

First Look videos are part of my First Impression series on newish indie games! I enjoy the variety of ideas, concepts and gameplay mechanics that indie developers come up with, and am always on the lookout for the latest and greatest. First Look videos typically involve video footage from the first 20-30 minutes of game with my thoughts on how it plays and the key idea or concept of the game.
Generally speaking, I try not to be overly negative (there's enough of that on the internet!) but if I do have minor gripes and criticisms, you will be sure to hear it! Also, I want this space to be one of positivity so no railing on low quality games since I don't see a point in showcase these games on my channel!
