Kitty Song Covey is in a long-distance relationship with her boyfriend Dae, who lives in South Korea. She is offered a full scholarship to the Korean Independent School in Seoul (KISS), where Dae is a high school student and where his mother also studied. Wanting to see Dae and be closer to her mother, she convinces her father to let her go.
She meets Yuri during her trip, who is going to stand in her way when she reunites with Dae.
