L'histoire vraie d'un ancien Shérif de Las Vegas, Ralph Lamb, cow-boy depuis quatre générations qui se retrouve chargé de mettre un peu d'ordre dans le Vegas des 60's, la nouvelle Mecque du jeu et du vice apparue dans le désert.
