Gumball Watterson, a 12-year-old blue anthropomorphic cat with an optimistic nature, is accompanied by Darwin, a pet goldfish who became his foster brother after he grew lungs and legs. Together with the rest of their family, Richard, their father, a big pink rabbit master of laziness, Nicole, their mother, a devoted and angry blue cat overwhelmed by work, and Anaïs, their little sister, a gifted pink rabbit, they live incredible adventures leading them, often in spite of themselves, into surreal situations.
