Strawberries with Sugar

This teen show is made up of one season each during the school year and the following summer.
And with each season, the entire cast changes, with seasons 7 and 9 being the only ones to retain the entire cast for more than one season. The series tackles topics such as drug use, violence, LGBT and coming-of-age in general.

Season 1, for example, takes place in September 2003. Pipo Gomes is 20 and his four siblings have been orphaned by a tragic car accident that claimed the lives of their parents. For two years, Pipo and his brothers are entrusted to their aunt, Vitória de Guimarães, who wants to control her nephews' inheritance and makes life difficult for them. They then move to Cascais.
Ricardo goes out with Joana, an 18-year-old girl, but he cheats on her. Joana goes to the beach, where she almost drowns. Pipo saves her and the romance begins.
