The day after Halloween 1984 in the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve district of Montreal, the parents of young Sébastien Métivier, 8 years old, were waiting for their son to return from an extracurricular activity taking place a five-minute walk from home. Nearly 40 years later, they are still waiting for his return. At the time, in the hope of finding Sébastien, the Returning Children Network was created. The young boy then became the first child to appear on milk cartons throughout the province. During these years, the disappearance of Sébastien Métivier was not the only horror story to make the headlines. Other children were reported missing, then found dead in the same neighborhood.
