Jess Valenzuela (near debutante Lisette Olivera) has DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) status, meaning she is a migrant who wants to settle in the United States. She would like to become a naturalized American citizen and work for the FBI. In the meantime, she works for a furniture storage company where her boss gives her the task of finding the owner of a storage unit whose rent has not been paid for several months.
It is none other than Peter Sadusky (Harvey Keitel), a former FBI agent who worked with Benjamin Gates.
While searching, Jess finds abnormal things. Her perfect deductive mind makes her realize that she is facing an enigma that may lead her to a treasure related to her father, who died when she was a baby. Jess embarks on this adventure with her friends, Tasha, Oren and Ethan. On her way, she meets Billie Pearce (Catherine Zeta-Jones), a billionaire who is also looking for the treasure.
Jess will meet Liam Sadusky, Peter's grandson, who will not leave her indifferent.
