Land of Women

Gala's life is radically transformed when she discovers that her husband has led their family into financial fraud. To escape this dangerous situation, she must leave New York with her mother and her daughter, who is still a student. To avoid the threatening criminals to whom Gala's husband owes explanations, the three women take refuge in a wine-producing village in northern Spain. This is the village Julia's mother left 50 years ago, vowing never to set foot there again. The three women are looking to start a new life and wish to keep a low profile. However, whispers begin to spread through the small community, revealing family mysteries and deeply buried truths.
