The night the rancheras singer Rosario Guerrero sees Emiliano at the doors of the Plaza Garibaldi bar, looking dejected, she decides to help him without knowing that he is a rich young Mexican who has arrived in Bogotá, fleeing justice for a crime he did not commit.

Emiliano Sánchez Gallardo, a member of one of the most powerful families in Mexico, never imagined that he would end up being the singer. Thanks to her, he manages to survive as a singer at the bar in Plaza Garibaldi, while avoiding the police in Colombia and Mexico.
With him, Rosario remembers her late father, a singer. She keeps his mariachi outfit as a relic.
