Goblin

Kim Shin (Gong Yoo) is a general of the Goryeo dynasty serving a young king. The latter, manipulated by a power-hungry advisor, massacres Kim Shin's relatives, including his sister the empress, and sentences the general to death for treason. But instead of being executed, he is condemned to a divine curse: he will be a goblin, an immortal being.

The only person who can save him is a young girl who can pull out the supernatural sword that will pierce him.

At the end of the 20th century, he saves the baby of a pregnant woman hit by a car.

Later, the child named Ji Eun Tak (Kim Go Eun) grows up and can now see ghosts and other supernatural phenomena.

In the present day, Kim Shin accidentally becomes the roommate of a sinister and gloomy reaper (Lee Dong-wook), who is in charge of leading souls to the afterlife, and is helped by his nephew, Yoo Deok Hwa (Yook Sungjae), who is the rebellious heir of a chaebol family that has been the guardian of the Goblin for generations.

Kim Shin meets Eun Tak, the young woman he had saved. Could she be the true "Bride of the Goblin" who has the power to free Kim Shin from his eternal misery?
