Mercedes (Lília Cabral) is a middle-class woman, mother of two and passionate about art. After being discharged from her former therapist and taking some time away from therapy, Mercedes decides to return to the couch in search of new answers to her questions. Recently separated and with grown children, she gets involved with a married man, faces her son Bruno's (Duda Nagle) relationship with an older woman, and reconnects with an old love from high school. She even decides to volunteer at an asylum, discovering the power of true friendship. In this new phase of her life, Mercedes has fun tips from the hairdresser Renê (Paulo Gustavo) and the support of her cool friend Tânia (Totia Meirelles), who advises her in the most adverse situations. Owner of a gallery, Tânia offers Mercedes the opportunity to exhibit her work.
