Der Schiffsarzt

The experienced surgeon and emergency physician Dr. Eric Leonhard (Moritz Otto) hires on board. The ship's crew is happy about the newcomer, but no one suspects what plans the ship's doctor is really pursuing. Because several months ago, his heavily pregnant wife Sarah disappeared without a trace. She wanted to go to her sister's, but never got there. Since then there has been no trace of her.
The police investigations were unsuccessful, but Eric is convinced that Sarah and his child, who should have been born by now, are still alive. He began investigating on his own - and suddenly a photo appeared showing her at the bar of a cruise ship. Since then, Eric has been determined to find his wife. When he gets hired as the ship's doctor, he doesn't trust anyone on board because any crew member could be involved in the case. For Eric, however, his job as a doctor is his vocation, which is why he is repeatedly asked for by holidaymakers who need his help.
