Timothy James "Tim" Farron is a British politician who was the Leader of the Liberal Democrats between July 2015 and July 2017. He announced his resignation on 14 June 2017 following the 2017 UK general election, remaining in his position until Sir Vince Cable was elected on 20 July 2017.
