Therés Amee is of Swiss German descent, born in Victoria BC. She began acting in kindergarten and modeling when she was 18. She fell in love with acting through theatre, and joined a Theatre Company for five years before progressing her studies into Film at Vancouver Acting School when she was 18. Therés has worked and studied throughout Canada, and continued to New York attending the William Esper Studio during one of Bill Esper's last summer intensives in 2016. Therés then took a step behind the camera where she worked in production before incorporating her own Company, Prowess Productions Inc, in 2017. Along with the incorporation, Therés adapted the film option rights to the drama fiction novel, 'Backshadow,' written by Canadian author, Julie Mann. Two years later, she adapted the second novel, 'Blessed Be,' based on the surrounding issues of human trafficking in India.
Aside from acting, Therés is a fitcurve model, body image activist, and works with the Canadian charity, The Beayoutiful Foundation, teaching confidence classes to young girls.
Therés is based in New York City, focusing primarily on championing female driven narratives and developing her literary properties.
