Fifteen years after leaving Beacon Hills, Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) runs an animal shelter in Los Angeles adjoining the new Deaton Clinic. He is no longer with Malia (Shelley Hennig).
Lydia (Holland Roden) works in San Francisco, broke up with Stiles after having a recurring vision of his death in a car accident, and hasn't used her banshee powers since.
Derek (Tyler Hoechlin), Malia and Peter (Ian Bohen) now run an auto repair shop. Traumatized by seeing his father's werewolf form as a child, Eli (Vince Mattis) suffers from fainting spells whenever he transforms, which hinders his other abilities and has strained his relationship with Derek. Malia has recently begun a casual relationship with Jordan Parrish (Ryan Kelley), who quietly wants them to become a real couple.
