Trainees by day, detectives by night.
Two apathetic police academy recruits who become best buddies through the tough training together witness a woman being abducted right before their very eyes. As they were taught in the academy, they quickly report the incident to the police, but the police are in no hurry to jump on the case. it’s a funny movie and the chemistry between the two main leads is amazing, but at the same time it makes you think how messed up the police world is (yeah this is fiction, but in today’s world, is it really that far from the truth?) promising to start investigating a kidnapping and trafficking ring a month after being found out is insane yeah they caused trouble, but they saved dozens of girls from having everything taken away from them (yoon jung was 17 and that girl they found was even younger) and they had to get punished for it okay yeah there’s discipline to follow, but give them a medal or sth and notice how every person on that board that was for them being expelled is a middle-aged, old ass man makes you wonder how girls like that are supposed to be safe under their protection as comedic as this is supposed to be, it left a bitter taste and to whoever is reading this, I hope you are doing okay and if you ever fall victim to anyone’s assault and abuse, don’t ever let anyone tell you it’s your fault, no matter what side of the law they are on and don’t think yourself that you deserved it, no one does! life your life for the happy and carefree little you that wanted to do so many things, for the present you who deserves to see all the good things in the world and deserves to have a happy and healthy life, and for the future you who will experience so many new things those who wronged you will face their punishment in one way or another you are loved
