C’est un lieu mythique, symbole du savoir-faire industriel français et du mythe des paquebots de croisières. Pendant trois ans, les équipes de Zone Interdite ont pu suivre en exclusivité aux Chantiers de l’Atlantique à Saint-Nazaire (Loire-Atlantique) la construction d’un paquebot révolutionnaire : le World Europa. Il vaut un milliard d’euros et cumule les records. Il pourra accueillir jusqu’à six-mille-sept-cents passagers et dispose d’un parc d’attractions inédit. Ses lignes sont futuristes et cassent les codes. Et surtout, il s’agit du paquebot le plus propre jamais construit car propulsé au gaz naturel liquide (GNL). Sa construction est un défi technologique et une aventure humaine hors-norme. Pendant trois ans, deux-mille-cinq-cents femmes et hommes y ont œuvré jour et nuit. Ouvriers, décorateurs, ingénieurs ou agents d’entretien aux missions extrêmes : ils incarnent l’élite de leur profession et leur savoir-faire sont uniques.

The series starts powerfully with episode 1 focusing on the right-wing populist 'Party for Freedom' (PVV) which could become the strongest force in the Dutch elections held on March 15, 2017. It portrays how this development becomes a nightmare for migrants and Muslims in the country, demonstrating how rigid positions in this once liberal flagship democracy are. The high-emotional election campaign is shown to change society significantly.
Moving further into Eastern Europe, episode 2 sheds light on Poland's growing fear of Russian invasion since the Ukraine crisis. It shows tens of thousands of men and women trading their everyday outfits for olive-green combat attire to train for defending their homeland. Even Polish education is seen embracing militarization trends with over 30,000 students attending uniform classes where they receive military training using real weapons.
