Le 6 janvier dernier, au départ de Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône), 2 200 passagers dont 900 Français embarquent à bord du « Magnifica » pour une croisière extraordinaire de quatre mois autour du monde. Des plages brésiliennes aux glaciers argentins d'Ushuaïa, des monolithes de l'Île de Pâques, aux plages de rêve de Tahiti, des fjords de Nouvelle-Zélande au canal de Suez, ce sont plus de 40 escales dans 23 pays différents que s'apprêtent à découvrir les heureux passagers. Cette croisière va être exceptionnelle à plus d'un titre : lorsque le monde entier va se trouver confiné à cause du coronavirus, le paquebot ne pourra plus faire escale, 42 jours sans voir la terre pour les passagers.
