Got a new scary book to read
But this one hits a bit differently
I checked it out from the library
You know the place you go to get books for free.

Moldy pages folded together
Words faded, scrawled with a feather
Old leather with bold letters that read:
ANCIENT SPELLBOOK

With this book full of ancient spells
I can make earth heaven or hell
Give the poor incredible wealth
Or keep it all for myself
Ain't got no need for nobody else
I love me and nobody else
As all the world's problems swell
What'll I do? Only time will tell...

Will people look at me and get a bit suspicious
Since this book is like genie givin' infinite wishes
If I do a lot of tricks to get infinite riches
Then as God as my witness
Everyday will be Christmas
Maybe I could cure sickness
Or create a great business
I could lift a lot of people up
or dig em some ditches
If they're mean, I'll be vicious
If they're nice, it's forgiveness
