Ekki Talkötter has inherited: his old aunt Marga's house and a dusty field. When Ekki wants to show the legacy to his friend Georg Wilsberg, the two soon realize that inheriting is not so easy. In the house you will find the body of Bauer Habich, who fought against the municipal utility company. He ran a biogas plant that could supply the whole village with electricity. But the municipal utilities want to prevent this, because they own the power grid. This is only a small part of the difficulties that Wilsberg and Ekki encounter.
