Johanna Eckert, gynecologist, obstetrician and volunteer at Family Planning, has been fighting since her installation in Martinique so that women can have abortions in good conditions. One day, while paddling, she was shot in the heart by a man driving a speedboat. Mélissa Sainte-Rose and her assistant Gaëlle Crivelli are in charge of the investigation. They discover that Johanna Eckert was the victim of repeated attacks by members of Ti Manmay, a pro-life association fiercely opposed to the right to abortion.
