Cassian and Melshi have reached the shore. They are suspended in the void hiding from the ships that are searching for them. Later, they try to steal an alien ship, but two creatures, Freedi and Greedi, catch them. Cassian tells them that he wants to go to Niamos. Lucky for them, the two escapees leave with the two aliens.

At Maarva, B2EMO does not want to mourn. Maarva's funeral is about to take place. Meero asks to watch the event. The same goes for Corv and Cinta who continue to watch the Andor residence.

Vel tries to contact Luthen by going to Kleya to announce Maarva's death.

Bix is exhausted from the torture sessions, but she resists and still reveals nothing. Mon Mothma seriously considers Davo's offer to introduce their children.

Luthen warns Saw Gerrera of the coming trap the Empire has set for them regarding the fate of Kreegyr. Luthen is captured on his way home by an Imperial Star Destroyer. He tries to escape. Luthen destroys part of the enemy ship, which launches TIE Fighters toward Luthen's ship. The battle is quick, and Luthen manages to escape.

Xanwan intercepts the call to Bee and informs Cassian that his mother has died.
