Different parents have different parenting styles. However, emotional abuse exists to some degree in any form of parenting styles. Do you suspect that your parents might be more emotionally immature than you? Could your parents be toxic? Are you one of the adult children of emotionally immature parents? Having emotionally immature parents can sometimes be harmful especially to your mental health.

Being emotionally mature is about understanding that while you may not be able to control every situation and its outcome, you can control your attitude and the way you deal with it.
