3 members

Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (or PTSD) is a mental illness that is brought about when we experience a traumatic event ourselves. Or when we witness or hear about a traumatic event that happened to someone we love. Statistics show that approximately 1 out of every 3 people who experience severe trauma develop PTSD. The American Psychological Association defines trauma as “any event where there is a serious threat to one’s life.” Are you watching this video to learn more about PTSD and to help raise awareness on the topic?
