6 Ways To Help a Friend in a Toxic Relationship

3 members

Do you have a friend in a toxic relationship? How do you help someone you really care about get out of an unhealthy relationship? Start off by not criticizing or judging your friend in the first place. Give your friend a boost in their self esteem first because they are probably already low on that. Try to relate by sharing your past bad experiences so you guys are on the same page, but of course, be mindful. The goal is to relate to them here. Lastly, be honest and supportive in the new direction your friend will go. Seek a professional if all else fails.
