Which Keirsey Personality Type Are You?

3 members

David Keirsey was an American psychologist who began to observe and research human behavior extensively after he returned from serving as a fighter pilot in World War II. He came up with the model of the four temperaments that people can identify with. Keirsey’s personality types blend with Carl Jung’s concept of introversion versus extroversion and Katharine’s theory of the 16 personality types.

Your temperament is a combination of personality traits, such as patterns of communication, habits, tendencies, values, and talents. It also involves your personal needs, how you contribute in the workplace, and the roles you play in society. According to Keirsey’s model, there are four types of basic temperaments: the Artisan, the Guardian, the Idealist, and the Rational.
