What Do Blind People Dream?

3 members

Everyone dreams, but just can't remember them. What about people who are born blind? What do blind people dream about? Do blind people dream? Can blind people dream? Those are the sort of questions we might wonder about. Research suggests that people born blind do dream, but they don't really see things. Instead, they are more likely to hear, feel, taste or smell in their dreams instead. In this video, we present to you the stats and research. Hope you enjoy! Be sure to show your psychology professor or classmates if you found this video interesting.

How do the blind dream? Various studies all over the world have concluded that congenially blind individuals (or have become blind before the age of 5) have no visuals in their dreams, and dream through other heightened senses. They do, however, dream about the same things and can visually and verbally recall the same as the sighted.
