What is ASMR? Happy International ASMR day!

3 members

Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, ASMR, is a tricky feeling to describe, and I can only talk about it secondhand. From what I understand from conversations with ASMRers, it’s a tingle in your brain, a kind of pleasurable headache that can creep down your spine.

There are plenty of people out there who never heard about ASMR that we might be able to help in different ways, so it’s good that we can promote ASMR in a positive way so that other people who deal with sleeping problems or high levels of stress for example can give ASMR videos a shot.

We got the special honour to reach out to Hermatic Kitten to shed light on AMSR and give you a asmr video through her gentle whispering. This video includes asmr sounds, asmr whisper, asmr role play. If you feel your brain tingles, do not be alarm.

Also, for those who don't know, Hermatic Kitten pointed out today is also International ASMR day (April 9th) to celebrate those who engage in ASMR and to promote awareness of ASMR across the world.

Hope you enjoy!

Cheers from Psych2Go. Let us know if there are any other topics you'd like us to cover or bring awareness or attention to!
