After a showdown with Marie in the dressing room of her theatre, Sam is down. But she has to pull herself together quickly, because Racing is going through another turmoil: the club has been raided and is threatened with a takeover to avoid bankruptcy. For his part, Fodé is dragged unwillingly into a political and militant stand that is beyond him. Marie drops a new bombshell: making it legal for citizens to bear arms. While at first sight such a prospect seems unthinkable, Sam sees the dangerous path a radical idea can take to become socially acceptable. In such a tense environment, anything is possible, especially the worst.
