Lucerys confides to Rhaenyra that if Lord Corlys were to die, he does not want to be the successor. Rhaenyra tells him about her childhood to reassure him, but he is not on the same wavelength. He doubts his capacities.
Rhaenyra is told that Rhaenys has arrived on the back of a dragon and wishes to see her and Daemon. Rhaenyra then learns of her father's death and Aegon's coronation. Daemon wonders what Viserys died of, he suspects an assassination.
The emotion causes sudden contractions to Rhaenyra, only three months pregnant.
Daemon wants to attack at once and organizes his army, but Rhaenyra orders her son Jacaerys to reason with him.
Rhaenyra gives birth prematurely to a stillborn child. During the funeral, a member of the royal guard of King's Landing arrives. He steals Viserys' crown and gives it to Rhaenyra.
Rhaenyra then becomes Queen.
Daemon still wants to attack. Supporters are pouring in. Alicent wants to negotiate and that Daemon and his people recognize Aegon as king, keep Peyredragon and Lamark. Daemon refuses, but Rhaenyra promises to consider it.
Daemon becomes uncontrollable and strangles his wife before changing his mind.
Corlys Velaryon is back. And surprising his wife, he chooses to support Rhaenyra.
Rhaenyra asks her two boys to go as representatives to the Stark and Baratheon houses. Lucerys arrives on a dragon, but notices her uncle Aemond with his dragon as well. If we learn that the Baratheons have already chosen Alicent's side, Lucerys wants to fight Aemond out of the Kingdom.
Lucerys does not last long against Vaghar. He ends up being eaten. Aemond had not foreseen this sudden offensive of his dragon.
Rhaenyra and Daemon learn the bad news. It is the end of the negotiations.
