Le refus d’obtempérer est devenu le cauchemar des forces de l’ordre. Des conducteurs de voitures ou de deux roues sont prêts à tout pour échapper aux contrôles de police ou de gendarmerie. En France, on compte un refus d’obtempérer toutes les trente minutes. Plus de 27 000 chaque année, un chiffre qui a doublé en dix ans.
Alors qui sont ces Français qui dérapent ? La plupart des contrevenants ne sont pas de dangereux délinquants, mais souvent monsieur ou madame Tout-le-monde. Des Français sans casier judiciaire qui tentent ce coup de folie pour ne pas perdre leur permis de conduire, ou quelques points. Beaucoup ont pris le volant en état d’ivresse ou sous l’emprise de stupéfiants, d’autres conduisent sans permis.
