After President Trump's remarks about purchasing the Danish territory, TBS's CONAN will take the show internationally for the twelfth time to help "broker the deal".
In the vast galaxy of television comedy, there are stars that shine brighter than others. Among them is 'Late Night with Conan O'Brien', a gem from the 90s that continues to be an emblem of smart-alecky and whimsical humour.
'Late Night with Conan O'Brien' began in 1993 after a rocky start but soon rose to become a critical darling and dorm favorite. The show boasted an array of recurring characters such as Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, Vomiting Kermit, Eyeballs O'Shaughnessy, NASCAR-driving gun-toting Jesus, Masturbating Bear among others. These characters along with comedy bits like New State Quarters, What in the World, Celebrity Survey, Actual Items and Conan Hates My Homeland were part of its rich tapestry that entertained audiences night after night.
The host himself, Conan O'Brien (also known for his roles in The Office (US), How I Met Your Mother and The Simpsons) brought his unique brand of wit and charm to every episode. His banter was complemented by Joel Godard's lively announcements while Megan Mullally (known for Percy Jackson and the Olympians), Richard Lewis (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit), Carson Daly (Girls5eva), Barbara Walters (Saturday Night Live) among others added their own flavor as guests on the show.
