For James Cameron's classic science fiction film The Abyss (1989), the filmmaker and his team had real working miniature submarines built for the underwater exploration and chase sequences! Adam encounters one of the surviving miniatures at Propstore, where he takes a look at the incredible interior detail, working lights, and real weathering this remote controlled effects prop sustained during filming.
