Quel est le palmarès des Emmy Awards 2024 ?
Après une édition bousculée par la grève qui a touché Hollywood, les Emmy Awards 2024 ont retrouvé leur calendrier traditionnel et une diffusion quasi automnale. Ainsi, dimanche 15 septembre, la fiction américaine a été mise en lumière lors d’une cérémonie qui n’a réservé que très peu de surprises. Shogun, une série japonaise se déroulant au 17e siècle diffusée en France sur Disney+ nommée 25 fois, a remporté pas moins de 18 trophées, dont celui prestigieux de Meilleure série dramatique. Un record pour une fiction non anglophone. Du côté des comédies, si The Bear (également disponible sur Disney+) s’est distinguée dans de nombreuses catégories d’acteurs – Jeremy Allen White a remporté par ailleurs pour la seconde fois consécutive le prix du meilleur acteur dans une comédie – elle a laissé échapper le titre phare de Meilleure Comédie au profit de Hacks, une fiction avec Jean Smart, racontant la relation professionnelle improbable entre une humoriste légendaire mais vieillissante et une autrice égocentrique. Pour les fictions d’une seule saison, c’est Mon Petit Renne sur Netflix qui a raflé la mise en remportant trois prix majeurs : celui de meilleure mini-série, celui de meilleur acteur pour Richard Gadd, qui est aussi créateur et scénariste de la fiction et meilleur second rôle féminin pour l’actrice Jessica Gunning.
